This past year, I worked with the Kings Creek Country Club to update the imagery associated with the club, the team, amenities, and services. The idea was to bring fresh, new looks of the club that they would use on a developing website, social media, and other membership collateral. The club had done some renovations and updates to the golf course as well as the interior and exterior of the clubhouse. After meeting with General Manager, Donald Byerly III and others on the management team, we came up with a solid plan, shot list, and a schedule. Working with the entire team at Kings Creek Country Club was a pleasure and the facility is outstanding.

Why USE a Professional Photographer for your Private Club?

I’m sure you know someone or maybe it’s even you that takes good even great pictures. Taking good pictures isn’t enough though. Having the eye for luxury products and services and being able to communicate those things in a skillful way for a desired effect is what matters. In the beginning, John Yeatman Jr toured the facility, interviewed staff, gauged individual needs and focus areas to learn about the property first hand. Days and times were then put in order to maximize impact on image opportunities with the least amount of footprint to the members, guests, and staff. Golf course shoots were shot early morning and late afternoons around tee times using available light for dramatic shadowing highlighting the natural beauty and contours of the terrain. Staff headshots were scheduled midweek immediately after a full staff meeting to take advantage of complete attendance. Food photography was scheduled midmorning so as not to interrupt lunch or dinner regular service, and so on.

Once all of the imagery had been gathered, a post production basic edit was done for color correction, crop, and relevance, and shared via online private gallery. We started a dialogue about likes, dislikes, and ultimately decisions were made about final images for the club’s portfolio. Last and final edits were completed and deliverables were made available for download via Dropbox folders for each category of the club ie. Golf Course, Court Sports, Pool, Food, Staff Headshots, etc.
