Credibility

Credibility means trust to me.

To suggest that you are credible is to say that you are at least competent in your field with some level of trustworthiness is built into your experience. In life, we make snap judgements that are ingrained in our evolutionary psyche to minimize risk and maximize safety for survival. Let’s face it. We all would like to accrue the most gains with as little risk as possible, right? Then how does one navigate through life and business without a proper understanding of how important great imagery is to you? How you can use great imagery to your advantage to enhance credibility and minimize risk for your clients, partners, and customers?

How do you increase your level of credibility?

The imagery you currently use in terms of your headshot, environmental images, and product photography is sending a message whether you are conscious of it or not. The images give subtle or not so subtle cues in many cases as to what you see as important in terms of sharing your message. What you highlight and what you show all tells a story. Most people can point to a photograph and say they like it or don’t like it as much as the next, but have you asked yourself why this is? I think it comes back to credibility. A credible image to me is one that is clear, evokes emotion on some level either through outright expression in a person or overt expression in terms of color, light, and composition. These are the images in which most of us can agree hit the mark. At Trident Image Group, we have studied for years the importance of what a great image is and how to create them. Whether it is a headshot, an exterior or interior, or a classic portrait sitting, we can help you tell your story in a credible way.
